Why do we collect detailed contact information?

As with any news source we work with, we need to check and double-check our information. Likewise, in order to accept letters to the editor, we also need detailed contact information to determine the credibility of the source. If you would rather remain anonymous when sharing your ideas, you may post a comment under any story on our website with a fictitious name.

What do you do with my information?

First of all, your information is kept secret. Only a limited staff of editors is allowed to review your submission. If we have a need to clarify a thought, spelling concern, fact, or etc., an editor will contact you by phone or by email with additional questions.

Will my piece get published?

If your piece is considered for publication—online, in print, or both—you will be contacted by phone or by email.
