I’m sure the Pacific Media Expo could have been fun but unfortunately it was held the Hilton LAX, a hotel where workers have called for a boycott.

Yeah, I definitely agree with this. I don’t understand how people can attend an event at a hotel and not even care if the workers are struggling.

Why didn’t this article even mention the fact that this event was held at a hotel where management doesn’t respect workers? Workers at the Hilton LAX have been fighting for basic respect for over three years – they have even called for a boycott of their own place of employment. I think something this important should at least be mentioned.
