It is different the way people connect in so many ways. I did not know Courtney but feel this connection with her. Just by reading the beautiful comments breaks my heart that such a young beautiful person was taken from her family way to soon. We lost our 30 year old nephew 10 months ago in a terrible motorcycle accident. A young man full of life and laughter. A husband and father to a 4 year old boy that adored his daddy. You do think about them everyday and you miss them like no other. My heart goes out to Carrie and I pray that each day brings her a memory to put a smile on her face. My niece went to school with Courtney and still has so many fond memories.

Courtney touched the lives of many, personally known and unknown. She and her mother both shared the “infectious laugh” and the smile that brightened any room. They shared a bond and friendship that would make anyone envious. She is an angel to us, and an angel with GOD. Her bright spirit will live on for eternity. Blessed by her presence for 20 years, we celebrate you forever and are grateful for the time we had with you! Rest in peace sweet Courtney. You will never be forgotten! Happy 21st Birthday~

My heart just breaks reading this article about Courtney. Carrie and Courtney were my neighbors years ago…..so the Courtney I remember most still had glasses and was playing with my kids. She was always a cutie. Carrie and Courtney came to see us years after they moved away and Courtney was all grown up. What a beautiful young woman she had become….inside and out. I miss the times Carrie and I used to sit outside and watch our kids play. I miss you Carrie…….and wish I could take away your pain. Courtney lives on in all of the lives she has touched. That was a beautiful article, about a beautiful little girl, that I had the pleasure to know when the family lived in Angel Fire New Mexico. Her father Chris, was the golf pro here for a long time. Courtney would come to visit the 19th Hole, where I worked, she was a very beautiful baby, like her Mother. She used to wear little red cow- boy boots, that I think, she would not take off. I enjoy seeing the picture of her with her mom on face book everyday. I have three girls of my own, and my heart goes out to Carrie, I can’t even imagine, what it is like, to lose your only child.
