you know 3x is rude but it’s in a good way. he/she does have some very key points that no one seems to want to touch. i do agree with him/her. people need to take their driving in general more serious as well as how they behave. drinking and driving is no joke. sadly all too often we have to become a DUI victim before we really see the big picture and realize how serious this really is. especially when people die.

And as Come On Now mentioned blah blah bla. That’s part of the problem right there. Too many people hear what’s being said but rather than comprehend what’s being said it’s just passed off as bla bla bla.

Too many people are dying from this type of crime. Now a days with the common knowledge in today’s society we know better. This crime is no different then picking up a gun and shooting someone with it. People need to take it more seriously. Perhaps if Jessica’s family took her drinking more seriously she’d still have a life and the Miguels would have their loved ones. They would have their loving mother’s and daughter’s back.

Two people died. How can that be bla, bla, bla??

Two young girls were seriously injured how can that be bla, bla, bla??

Now I ask you does that sound like bla, bla, bla??

I dare you to go to the Miguels or to any DUI vic for that matter front door step and tell them bla, bla, bla. Wonder what kind of reaction you would get.

I concur with triplexxx and sue in that there are parents who would stand by their child, but not bail them out. And yes, there are parents who only care about their own pain and forget about those that suffered because their adult child did something Illegal. Case in point, my drunk driver was an adult. While I was in the hospital, do you think they even showed up to their own criminal hearing? NO! The offender’s parents were there to make sure their REPEAT DRUNK OFFENDER ADULT CHILD wouldn’t be charged Where was the offender? SKIING! The police closed the case stating there were no injuries…something smelled very very fishy. Two people were seriously injured and in two separate hospitals. Hmmm….But I digress. I just want to make a point that yes, there are self absorbed A**holes who spawn even more self absorbed A**holes and those dumb a** parents will do anything to bail the spawn out of jail so that they don’t “suffer”, don’t make amends, don’t LEARN! And then there are parents who value teaching their children what is morally right and wrong.

Oh, and I also don’t call this an accident. You don’t accidentally DECIDE to drink and drive. It was a wreck. . . and a tragic one at that.

I have a 23 year old daughter who looks very much like Jessica (minus the Jack Daniels). I agree that it would be very painful for me not to bail her out, but it would not be about MY pain if she went on a killing spree. It would be about the pain of the victims. My pain, as her parent, would be totally unimportant compared to all that Jessica inflicted on others.

If my daughter did something like this I would stand by her as she plead guilty, but I would NEVER bail her out or try to help her avoid beginning to attempt to make amends for her crime. I also would not want to drag it out for everyone involved.

What bothers me most is that you really can’t see that other parents would handle this differently. Can you be so soulless? Some people really do put the suffering of others first.

That Jessica’s parents are so focused on their own pain does tell us that Jessica got first-class lessons in selfishness growing up.

Many law enforcement agencies often describe a drunk behind the wheel as a “loaded gun”. Now I ask you, would you really bail someone out who intentionally shot TWO people for no reason? An “accident” is stepping on someones toes. So I’m not buying the “accident” thing. And please folks, she’s not a child. She’s an adult who knew better. People talk about DUI related cases everyday at work, home, hear it or see it on tv or radio, etc.

Come on now I do not agree. She should be in jail right this second even if she is going to jail anyway. Can we bring back the dead until she is proven guilty??? Had my child done this there is no possible way I would bail them out. I mentioned that in a previous thread. I, and this is just me, could not knowingly bail out my child after they committed this crime. Maybe if no one died and I knew they were going to jail still, then maybe I would. But TWO died and that changes everything. And from what I saw these seemed to be 2 nice women. None the less TWO children were seriously injured. Who you bail out your child if he or she just went out and shot TWO women with a gun? Would you bail out your child if he or she just beat the crap out of TWO young girls with a bat? If this is such a stand up family then accountability needs to to taken asap. But like I said so people don’t get so offended is that’s just me. My mind would not be clear that I just bailed out a killer x 2. And a child assaulter x 2.

come one now if your child was about to go to jail for who knows how long wouldnt you spend whatever amount of money and do what ever it took to keep them out for at least a few extra months before the inevitable was going to happen? id say so. so hating on her parents for wanting to spend the time they have left with her before she is shipped off to hell is exactly what any other parent would do….and if you say you would just let your kid rot you are lying. SHE did the crime SHE will do the time. leave her destroyed father and family outta it. blah blah they allowed the behavior….every parent tries to teach their child right from wrong but at the end of the day its their choice whether or not they are going to listen. you can only do so much and once they hit 18 it either sticks with them or it dont! and quit going back and forth bashing on eachother you arent proving anything its just getting old!

Vicious only towards the obvious guilty and the people who allowed this to happen and those who continue to support or show compassion to this type of menace. This is a sickening crime that needs to stop and needs harsher punishment to those that commit this type of crimes.

Honestly just needs to get out of the kitchen. Seems to be too hot for her to handle. Tells me I’m insane, then turns around to defend the guilty. At least I have common sense enough to choose the right side. DRUNK DRIVERS AND THE PEOPLE WHO ENABLE AND OR SUPPORT THEM ARE BAD PEOPLE. They deserve nothing. The fact that Jessica is out on bail and got to spend the holidays with family is insane.

The fact that her father enabled this, then bailed her out is insane.

The fact that she was even allowed bail was insane.

Then last but by far the least folks like Honestly wants everyone to be NICE and UNDERSTANDING to the guilty and the enablers of this horrible crime. That’s just plain brain dead!!!!

What does she do instead?? Rants and raves about how rude I am and starts the name calling game. Goes off on a complete tangent. Attempting to pass herself off as someone with intellect yet can’t even keep up with a hillbilly like me.

Honestly, what planet do you live on?? Log off and stop wasting your MB’s.

You seem pretty fond of calling people losers.
The truth is you are right. A lot of us here are losers. A lot of us come here because we have lost someone important to us. And that senseless loss makes us feel intense rage when we see selfish drunks kill innocent people. And sometimes we express rage by saying angry outrageous things. So, yes, I really do understand when someone says that Jessica should kill herself. I understand that a lot more than I understand someone attacking Sandra for her spelling.

Do I really think that Jessica should kill herself?
Rather than killing herself, I would much rather see Jessica dedicate her life to making amends and finding redemption. Since Jessica’s supporters seem to express far more arrogance than apology, and since Jessica is home on bail and pleading not-guilty, I don’t really imagine that is the path she will take.
I suspect it is far more likely that she will kill more innocent people on the road after she is released from prison (if not before she is convicted). Unfortunately she has a lot of years on the road ahead of her. If it a choice between her killing herself or killing more innocents…well I think it’s clear who I would pick.

When Jessica pleads guilty and takes responsibility for her actions, then she and her family will have my deepest sympathies.

And one last thing. Since you are so fond of losers documenting their stories, I suggest that you Google: drunk driving memorials.
You will find lots of “losers” there. Cheers.

Sandra please quote me on how I attacked you. I said you thanked compassionate, in other words (plain english here) you have spoke to this board on several occasions and you never once thanked triple xxx. In other words, he’s too vicious, even for victims to chime in and give him kudos. Seriously, everyone must love a circus atmosphere. The blind leading the blind. You all are a joke.

There are no winners in this whole case. So much pain for all involved. I was attempting to calm triplexxx down off of his insane rants about asking a girl to commit suicide. But if you all wish to defend such scum; then enjoy your shallow lives. Maybe next he’ll call for your friends and family to commit suicide.

When Sandra was angry, she had/has a right. But some fool begging for people to kill themselves is the exact opposite of many of the religions most of you prescribe to. Be careful who you defend…birds of a feather flock together.

Jersey girl- Wow that’s really sad. I don’t support drunk driving in any way shape or form, but it’s not always about being selfish. Botos CLEARLY needs help. Alcoholism is a disease and not enough people get the help they need. Ugh just too sad. Seems like such a waste of life.
