Not just a state issue. We all would like to absolve responsibility and look to Sacramento to somehow "fix" this problem. It's easier that way. But it's up to ALL of us - students (including the ASI), faculty, administration, the community- to voice our concerns about these problems affecting all of us and to take a stand against putting anything above education on our campus. We've been paying more for less of an education for some time now. This has been going on more recently since 2002. We've seen an increase in fees every year with the exception of 2005. It's just a shame we haven't done or said anything about it as students as a whole until now; when it's probably too late. So we shouldn't be pointeing fingers at ASI or CSUF administration. The root of the problem is in Sacramento. Fullerton doesn't dictate how are fees are raised or the amount or decide the overall budget it recieves. It's all appropriated by the State and filtered down to each of the 23 CSU's. We are a state ran institution. That is all I am trying to point out. I completely agree with you on that.
