Apparently, white flags don’t last long in hip-hop. This past weekend at Hot 97’s Summer Jam, hip-hop’s most infamous concert series, Game rehashed his war of words with G-Unit. The rapper took the stage with chants such as “F- – k 50” and “G U-NOT” and threatened to knock out Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo. 50 Cent and company have yet to respond to the much talked about performance … Although she has much to celebrate with the June 6 release of her sophomore effort Sleeping in the Nothing, Kelly Osbourne has admitted herself into a drug rehabilitation clinic in Pasadena, Calif. There is no word yet on how long her stay will be … Kevin Smith announced recently via his Web site that everything is on schedule for a September start on “Clerks 2: The Passion of the Clerks.” It has not yet been revealed though if Dante and Randall will get a makeover in color … The next film in the X-Men series, “X3,” finally has a director. After the fall out of two previous directors, Brett Ratner of the “Rush Hour” series has signed on to helm the film for a Memorial Day 2006 release … CD releases for June 14 are Never Gone by the Backstreet Boys and In Your Honor by the Foo Fighters. DVD releases for June 14 are “Father of the Bride: The Complete Series,” “Newlyweds: Season Two and Three” and “The Sopranos: The Complete Fifth Season.
